The Dayton Greenway

The Dayton Greenway is located in historic Dayton, Virginia. The greenway links Cooks Creek Park with the Silver Lake Mill. The overall goal of the greenway is to create a pedestrian friendly trail throughout Dayton. The neighborhood trail loop provides safe connections for children to school and paths for families to get outside and spend time together. Rhodenizer Construction did a complete excavation of the property, built two pedestrian bridges and a paved walking path. Now people are able to walk on the greenway, to see all the different parts of Dayton.

The Dayton Muddler

The Dayton Muddler is held in Dayton, Virginia on the first weekend of August of every year. The Muddler helps raise money for the Wounded Warriors. Two years ago, Rhodenizer Construction donated the cargo net and built the structure for the course. This year, we are building a Z Wall for the Muddler. A Z Wall is a 7-8-foot-high and is shape in the form of a Z. Each side of it has 2 levels of wood pieces sticking out of it, about an inch each. There’s 3 sides you have to cross which will add an extra level of difficulty to motivate you through the course. Come out and help support this worthy cause and are courageous troops.
